Recycling |
Recycling has become an important part of our everyday lives. Lambton Shores offers a weekly recycling pickup service which is contracted to Bluewater Recycling Association (BRA). BRA currently uses a co-collection system which means both garbage and recycling are collected at the same time using the same truck. |
Garbage |
Household waste is a fact of life. Lambton Shores offers a weekly garbage pickup service provided by Bluewater Recycling Association (BRA). BRA currently uses a co-collection system which means both garbage and recycling are collected at the same time using the same truck. |
Electronic Waste |
Electronic Waste (e-waste) is very harmful to the environment when not disposed of properly. Bring old televisions, computers, and computer components can be dropped off at either the Forest or Northville municipal offices for disposal. There is no fee for this service. Owners are responsible for the removal of all personal data from any unit prior to bringing it to an e-waste site. |
Landfills and Waste Sites |
Residents of Lambton Shores may use the landfills and waste sites in neighbouring municipalities. |
Compost |
The Lambton Shores Compost Site will be open Saturday, April 21 through November 10, 2018.The Municipality owns and operates a compost site located at 7550 Brush Road, adjacent to the Forest Wastewater Treatment Plant. Hours of operation are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:00am - 2:00pm mid April to late November. |
Leaf Pick Up Program |
The spring pick up program will run from April 30 - June 1, 2018Lambton Shores provides a leaf pick up program for its residents. Leaves can be bagged for pick up by the Community Services Department during the allotted time in the spring and fall at no charge.
