No matter where you live in Lambton Shores, you’re sure to be near a gathering place where members of our community come together for social, leisure and business functions.
The municipality operates two arenas and seven community centres, with a range of amenities suitable for small or large gatherings. To book one of these facilities, call 519-243-1400 or toll free 1-866-943-1400.
Several other privately-owned facilities, like legion halls and golf clubs, can accommodate group bookings for your events. Please contact these facilities directly for bookings.
ARENAS

- Gymnasium - 1 full size basketball, volleyball and badminton court (can be split into 2 by a curtain wall)

- Ice can be rented for private parties/functions. Ideal for Christmas parties

- Serves as the Emergency Reception Centre for the Thedford Area
- 1 ice rink (180ft x 80ft): Combined seating and standing capacity of 600. Ice can be rented out for private parties/functions. Ideal for Christmas parties
- Concrete pad can be rented out for dances, stag and does, trade shows and summer sports.

- Thomas Hall: 470 capacity. Kitchen facilities: 2 ovens, electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, 2 100-cup coffee makers, walk-in cooler, bar. Microphone, PA system (both wired and wireless). Stage, podium makes it perfect for weddings, dances, stag and does, banquets and large functions.
- Upper Hall: 150 capacity. Fridge, stove, cooler, small and microwave. Great for meetings, birthday parties or sports registration.

- Lions/Lioness Meeting Room: 30 capacity. Great for small meetings and registrations.
- Recreation Room: 50 capacity. Great for dance or exercise classes, information sessions and cards.

- Grand Bend Gymnasium: 200 capacity. Equipment supplied: floor hockey sticks, basketballs, volleyballs, hoola hoops, badminton racquets, benches, tables and chairs. Great for sporting events or large meetings.
- Community Room: 40 capacity. Small kitchen: stove, fridge, microwave, dishes for up to 40 people. Room dividers, overhead screen, tables and chairs. Also functions as a nursery school room. Great for small meetings, small dinners, classes and information sessions.

- Serves as the Emergency Reception
Centre for the Port Franks Area
- A wall separates the Optimist Hall and West Wing but can be opened to combine the two rooms to a total capacity of 395. Great for dances, weddings, stag and does.
- Optimist Hall: 240 capacity. Kitchen facilities:2 stoves, 1 fridge, 1 cooler, dishwasher, microwave, bar cooler and freezer. Microphone and PA system (speakers only in Optimist Hall). Great for luncheons, dinners, cards, games, dances and weddings.
- West Wing: 149 capacity. Kitchen facilities: fridge and stove. Great for large meetings, dinners, luncheons, cards, games and information sessions.
- Optimist Meeting Room: 82 capacity. Great for small meetings, information sessions and small classes.
