Village Green Officially Open!!!

The long awaited parkette in downtown Thedford was officially opened July 31st by Mayor Gord Minielly, MP Bev Shipley and MPP Maria VanBommel.  The new parkette signals the revitalization of the Thedford business area and provides a great gathering place for the community and visitors.  Come for a visit, grab an ice cream cone and enjoy some time relaxing and people watching.

Recreation, culture and leisure opportunities play an important rolein our community by allowing us to engage in physical activity and healthy lifestyles, interact with one another and appreciate our natural environment.

The Municipality of Lambton Shores is undertaking a Recreation and Leisure Services Master Plan to ensure that the Municipality’s provision and management of recreation, parks, open space, leisure and culture programs, facilities and services continue to meet the needs of our residents.  The Master Plan will identify community needs and establish strategic directions that will guide decision-making for the next ten years.  More...

Grand Bend Area Groundwater Tests

The Municipality of Lambton Shores has been conducting groundwater quality testing in the area south of Grand Bend, in conjunction with the sanitary sewer servicing study it is contemplating. See attached test results for August (PDF)
