DRINKING WATER
The Lambton Shores Water Supply and Distribution System is operated and maintained through a services contract with OMI Canada Inc. Their staff members are all Certified Operators under Reg. 435/93 of the Utility Operator Licensing Program.
The Municipality of Lambton Shores has two sources of treated water for its system:
The Municipality of Lambton Shores provides the following services:
- Operation, repair and maintenance of the distribution system, including emergency repairs. (The property owner is responsible for the portion of the water service from their property line to the house.)
- Repairs/replacement of water meters
- Flushing of the water mains
- Water billings
- Repair and maintenance of all municipal hydrants
ANNUAL WATER REPORTS
The Municipality of Lambton Shores is required to submit an annual report to the Ministry of Environment on an annual basis. You can download the reports from this page, by region, or view a copy at any of the municipal offices.
