STORMWATER & DRAINAGE

Municipal drains are a very important part of the storm water management for the rural sectors of our municipality since they help to preserve and maintain a healthy environment for the agricultural sectors of our municipality. No alteration of a municipal drain can take place without the prior approval of the Drainage Superintendent.

Requests for drainage improvements and maintenance should be directed to the Drainage Superintendent. The certified Municipal Drainage Superintendent manages the network of approximately 500 municipal drains and six pumping stations.
