Stimulus Fund Projects Update

Thanks to the infusion of over $10,500,000.00 of Federal and Provincial funding (your taxes being brough back to Lambton Shores to work for you!), several important projects are nearing their way to completion.

Thanks Ontario

Lambton Shores is the proud recipient of money from the Provincial "Invest in Ontario" grant.  These grants will be directed to several projects in the community including the new "Arkona Community Centre Parking Lot", the rehabilitation of the "Arkona Brownfield Site", the paving and improvements to "Rawlings Road" in Forest and the reconstruction of "Gill Road" in Grand Bend.  In total these grants amount to $765.206.00

Without this kind of financial support from the Province of Ontario it is doubtful that these projects would have been undertaken.  Thanks go out to the Province and in particular Mrs. Maria Van Bommel our MPP who advocates for this community each and every time we seek funding support from the Province.  Thank you from a grateful community.
