Meeting of Council held October 2, 2018

• Monteith Brown Planning Consultants presented the Recreation and Leisure Services Master Plan Update and Council adopted the plan.
• A subdivision agreement with Grand Bend Developments Corporation at 74 Main Street East in Grand Bend was approved.
• Zoning By-Law Amendments were approved for:
  • 7680 Townsend Line – Van Engelen
  • Widder Road – McDermott
  • Con C N Pt Lots 22 and 23 - Pachlarz.
• The 2019 water and wastewater rates were adopted.

• A public meeting was held for a zoning by-law amendment at 7680 Townsend Line.  The zoning amendment was approved.
• Council heard a presentation from Lambton Public Health regarding the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017.
• BDO Canada LLP presented the 2017 Financial Statements and they were approved by Council.
• The 2018 asphalt patching tender was awarded to Armstrong Paving and Materials Group Ltd.

• Tenders were awarded for:
  • Prince/Bradley Reconstruction Project in Forest
  • Rock Glen Road Culvert Replacement.
• Council approved the purchase of a fire tanker for the Grand Bend Station.
• The lease with the Grand Bend Art Centre was renewed for a 3 year term.
• Staff was directed to proceed with an update to the Forest and Area Sanitary Sewage Master Plan which is to include the consideration of a developer constructed decentralized sewage treatment...
