UPDATE (August 21, 2024): the project start date has been moved to Spring 2025
The Municipality of Lambton Shores will be starting a construction project at the Arkona Water Tower (8602 Townsend Line) at the end of August. The project completion date is early Summer 2025, but there will be a project shutdown from the end of September 2024 to Spring 2025.
The project will include the rehabilitation of the Arkona Water Tower, including both tower specific rehabilitation and site alterations.

UPDATE (September 6, 2024): The anticipated completion date is now Friday, September 13
The Municipality of Lambton Shores has started a construction project on Fuller Road between Townsend Line and Proof Line. During the project, Fuller Road will be closed to all but local traffic and emergency vehicles. Motorists are advised to follow all traffic control signage.

Construction Notice: Cedar Point Line - Haney Drain Culvert Replacement

The Municipality of Lambton Shores is undertaking a construction project on Cedar Point Line at the Haney Drain (just east of Dolmage Road) to replace the existing culvert.
During the project, Cedar Point Line will be closed between Dolmage Road and Fuller Road. Access will be available to local residents and emergency services only.

The Ontario government is providing nearly $52,000 to Scouts Canada to help restore the Oak Savanna at Camp Attawandaron, in Lambton Shores. Oak Savanna is a globally rare ecosystem that exists between prairie grassland and oak woodland.
Scots pines, which were planted in the area decades ago, are now known to be invasive and are quickly overtaking the natural oak habitat. This project aims to restore the area to its natural biodiversity, which will include the planting of native trees and shrubs...
