Dredging Notice: Grand Bend and Port Franks

UPDATE (June 6, 2024): The Municipality of Lambton Shores has obtained the required permits from upper agencies to begin in-water operations/prop washing operations in the Grand Bend Channel beginning June 7, 2024 (weather permitting).
Please note that due to current restrictions in place by Provincial and Federal agencies, the Municipality (and its contractors) is prohibited from completing any dredging or other in-water (prop washing) work at this time.

Notice of Intention to Declare Surplus: Part 1 of Plan 25R-11410

At their meeting on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, Council will consider declaring the following lands to be surplus to the needs of the Municipality.
Part 1 of Plan 25R-11410 being Part of Lot 1 on Registered Plan No. 9 (identified in red below):
The intention is to sell the 14m parcel of land to the abutting landowner at 50 Main Street, in order to provide access to the property from Dietrich Avenue.

The Municipality of Lambton Shores has launched a new grant program to assist residents with disconnecting sump pumps from the sanitary sewers and installing backwater valves in their home.
