With the 2019 event only a week away, Lambton Shores’ Mayor Bill Weber reflects on previous events and says “The Councils of the Municipality of Lambton Shores and Chippewas of Kettle & Stony Point are excited to provide this opportunity for our residents to come together.  Events like this Joint Open House can only strengthen our relationship and demonstrate the mutual benefits of cooperation.  Once again we will have an incredible opportunity to showcase the similarities of our communities and share information on issues affecting our residents.”

Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation Chief Jason Henry says “We are pleased to be partnered with the Municipality of Lambton Shores once again to hold this wonderful event within the Nation’s Traditional Territory.  This is an important step in continuing to work together on issues of joint interest and further our culture of cooperation together, both as leaders, and communities. This is a great opportunity that can bring positive outcomes and progress for the Municipality and Kettle and Stony Point.  It is our pleasure to collaborate and participate once again and I look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s event.”
