What is Blue Flag?
Blue Flag is a highly respected and internationally recognized eco-certification. Blue Flags are awarded to beaches and marinas that meet strict criteria for water quality, environmental education, environmental management, safety and services.
In 2021, Blue Flags are flying at 23 beaches and ten marinas in Canada. 3 flags call Lambton Shores home at the Grand Bend Beach, Grand Bend Marina, and Port Franks Marina.

When you see a Blue Flag, you know the beach or marina is clean and accessible, has great water quality, meets high safety standards, and is working to protect shorelines and ecosystems.
