2024 Dredging Updates for the Port Franks Marina

The Port Franks Marina provides 92 seasonal boat slips, a public boat launch and a park with a picnic area. It is one of nine internationally recognized Blue Flag marinas in Canada.

Seasonal Boat Slips

There is currently a wait list for seasonal dockage at the Port Franks Marina, however we are not accepting new applications at this time.  The application form will be posted to this website when we are accepting them again.

Boat Launch Passes

Seasonal boat launch passes are available from the marina office starting the first week of May each year. Passes will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. The quantity available each year may vary and will be left to the discretion of the Community Services Department. 

Operating Dates and Times

The marina is staffed from mid-April until mid-October. Seasonal boat slips are available from the Victoria Day weekend in May (weather dependent) until Thanksgiving weekend in October.

You can contact the Harbour Master directly from mid-April until mid-October. Please contact Parks and Recreation with inquiries in the off-season.

Depths are current as of the date taken. The municipality does not update mapping daily and is not responsible for shifting sand or depth changes due to weather conditions. Boaters are reminded to always proceed through the channel with caution and ensure it is passable under current conditions. For current channel advice, please contact the marina office.
