The Municipality of Lambton Shores has facilities that can accommodate large, small, indoor, and outdoor weddings.

Events taking place at the Grand Bend Beach or an outdoor space are subject to the discretion of the Community Services Department and/or Council.

All outdoor events must comply with the Outdoor Event Policy.

Before you submit your request…

When you submit your event request, you will need to include the following information:

Desired event location

Search our facilities to find the perfect location for your event.

Location requirements

Do you have any specific needs like a stage, kitchen, bar facilities, washrooms, garbage/recycling units, audio-visual systems or tables and chairs? Please include these in your event request, so we can ensure the facility you book will suit your needs.

Date and time

Select a date for your event, as well as an alternate date. Facilities are booked on a first-come first-served basis, however we do our best to accommodate all requests.

When considering the amount time to book the facility, be sure to include enough time for set-up before and clean-up following your event.

Event type

Will you be holding your ceremony, reception or both at this location?

The Grand Bend Beach Gazebo and Observation Deck are only available for wedding ceremonies.


How many attendees do you anticipate attending your event?


Are you serving alcohol at your event? All licensed events must follow the Municipal Alcohol Policy and have a Special Occasions Permit from the Alcohol and Gaming Corporation of Ontario.

Other event details

List any other event details. This can include, but is not limited to: food trucks, inflatables, stages, live or pre-recorded music, other forms of entertainment, by-law exemptions, fireworks,

Once you have the above details, please contact the Parks and Recreation department to submit your rental request. Depending on the size and details of your event, you many need to complete additional forms.
