Population and demographics
We are home to approximately 10,600 full-time residents, and welcome an influx of campers and cottagers in the summer months who call Lambton Shores their home away from home. Our residents include young families, retirees, and everyone in between.

Location
We are conveniently located close to London and Sarnia and Highway 402 is easily accessible. We cover approximately 331 square-kilometers in northeast Lambton County along the shores of Lake Huron.
Major economic sectors
Tourism, agriculture and manufacturing are the leading drivers of our economy.
The beaches, forests and natural attractions in our area, in addition to our picturesque communities attract tens of thousands of tourists each year. Compared to the provincial average, we have a higher than average number of firms in the arts, entertainment and recreation sector, as well as the accommodation and food services sector.
We have a heavy concentration of businesses in the agriculture sector. Our major agriculture sub-sectors include:

- Hogs/pigs
The manufacturing sector also plays a large role in our community, with several businesses involved in food and beverage, chemical and plastics, and equipment manufacturing.
