Bluewater Recycling Association (BRA) provides weekly garbage and recycling pick-up in Lambton Shores. BRA uses a co-collection system, meaning both garbage and recycling are collected at the same time, using the same truck.

Electronic Waste (e-waste) is harmful to the environment when not disposed of properly. Certain electronic items can be dropped off at the Northville Municipal Office for proper disposal. Landfills and Waste Sites |
Lambton Shores does not own or operate a landfill or waste site. Lambton Shores Residents can use the landfills and waste sites in nearby municipalities. |
Compost Site |
Lambton Shores owns and operates a compost site located at 7550 Brush Road, near the Forest Wastewater Treatment Plant. Hours of operationThe Compost Site is open Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. from mid-April to mid-November. The Compost Site opened with regular hours of operation on April 12, 2023 |
Fall Leaf Pick Up Program - runs mid-October to mid-November |
Lambton Shores operates a Leaf Pick Up Program in the spring and fall at no charge. The fall Leaf Pick Up Program typically runs from mid-October to mid-November each year. The Fall 2023 program will run October 16, 2023 until November 21, 2023.* During this period, bagged leaves left at the curb will be picked up as long as they meet the requirements below:
Please do not rake leaves on to the streets or in ditches. This can cause drainage problems and poses a danger to pedestrians, bicycles, and motorists. *Please note: there will not be a specific day bagged leaves are picked up. Staff will pick up bagged leaves on a rolling basis throughout the period noted above. |
Spring Leaf Pick Up Program - runs end of April to end of May |
Lambton Shores operates a Leaf Pick Up Program in the spring and fall at no charge. The spring program typically runs from the end of April to the end of May. The Spring 2023 Program will run April 24, 2023 until May 23, 2023.* During this period, bagged leaves left at the curb will be picked up as long as they meet the requirements below:

Christmas Tree Drop Off - runs late December to early January |
After Christmas each year, residents can drop off their Christmas trees at a Municipal tree drop off site. Details will be posted closer to December. |
