Facility details

Fully renovated in 2011, the Legacy Recreation Centre is a hub of activity in the community of Thedford. The facility houses an arena, banquet hall, public library and nursery school. It also serves as the Emergency Reception Centre for the Thedford Area. The facility grounds include green space, a baseball diamond (no lights) and swings.

The Legacy Recreation Centre is the first LEED© certified building in Lambton Shores.

Rentals

In the fall and winter, the ice can be rented out for private parties/functions, and during the spring and summer the concrete pad can be rented out for dances, trade shows and summer sports.

All ice time rentals are based on a 50 minute hour with the additional 10 minutes of the hour set aside for the resurfacing of the ice. All resurfacing is at the discretion of Management, not the User Group. 

Thomas Hall is perfect for weddings, dances, banquets, conferences, workshops and large functions.
