Council Highlights – August 13, 2019

  • A public meeting was held for a zoning by-law amendment application at 8612 Goosemarsh Line; the ZBA was approved which rezoned the lot to permit a residence
  • Sarnia Lambton Business Development Corporation made a presentation to Council; the SLBDC mandate is to help Lambton County businesses be more successful creating permanent jobs and wealth in our community
  • A development agreement for 61 Centre Street in Grand Bend was approved
  • Council granted approval for the Sunset Market in the Park to apply for a Special Occasion Permit for the August 15th and September 19th market nights
  • A request from North Lambton Secondary School to waive ice fees was denied as the request does not comply with the Community Grant and Vibrancy Policy
  • Council approved the 2020 Budget Survey for posting on the municipal website
  • Council approved a road closure request and noise by-law exemption by the Ipperwash Beach Club for an event September 13-14, 2019
