Back to SearchLambton Shores Council met on May 17 for regularly scheduled council meeting.
Council Highlights:
- A Public Meeting for Official Plan and Zoning By-Law Amendments was held for 6320 Lakeshore Road to rezone the property from Commercial to Multi-Residential zone. The intention is to convert the existing commercial plaza building on the subject lands into a residential building with 7 dwelling units; both the OPA and ZBA were approved
- Council approved one time additional funding to assist with Canada Day Celebrations in Grand Bend and Forest.
- A Temporary Use Agreement was approved for 8354 Army Camp Road to permit occupancy of an existing dwelling during the construction of a new dwelling
- An agreement with the Arkona Improvement Association to operate the concession at Utter Park in Arkona was approved
- B.M. Ross and Associates were awarded the Road Needs Study project for $ 67,548.00
- Agreements were approved with two operators for use of the North Pier
The next scheduled Council meeting will be on June 7, 2022 at the Legacy Centre in Thedford. The public is invited to view the meeting online or in person.
