Back to SearchCouncil met at the Legacy Centre in Thedford on November 9th and 30th, 2021. The public is welcome to attend meetings in person however, the option to view meetings on the Lambton Shores website continues to be available.
Council Meeting Highlights:
- Site plans were approved for the development of mixed commercial residential buildings at 62 Main Street W, Grand Bend and 9-15 Main Street W, Grand Bend
- An amending site plan was approved for 77-91 Ontario Street S, Grand Bend for a retirement home development
- The 2022 Council meeting calendar was approved
- No decision was made on the proposed Council Composition and Ward Boundary changes
- A new sports rate was approved for sports use at Thomas Hall
- A report was received on the (old) Forest Arena and upgrade requirements; consultation will take place with existing tenants to determine the current and future need and use of the facility
- 2022 Community Grants and Vibrancy Fund requests were approved
- An election sign by-law was enacted
- Council had presentations from the Sunset Community Foundation and Centre Ipperwash Community Association

The next scheduled Council meeting will be on December 21st at the Legacy Centre. The public is invited to view the meeting online or in person (with masking and distancing requirements).
