Council Highlights: October 19, 2021

Council and staff met at the Legacy Centre on October 19, 2021. The public continues to be invited to view meetings on the Lambton Shores website.

Council Meeting Highlights:

  • A Public Meeting was held for Zoning By-Law Amendment application for 10072 Huron Drive to permit a second dwelling in a detached building, subject to a limit of 2 dwellings on the lot and neither being used for a short term rental. The ZBA was approved
  • The Railroad Way Storm Sewer Project tender was awarded to All Season Excavating at a cost of $ 137,141.30
  • The Fees and Charges By-Law was amended to increase Cash-in-Lieu of parking in Grand Bend to $ 13,000/space and requested that an RFP for a Comprehensive Parking Review be undertaken
  • Council directed that the Administration Building tender proceed and that a Special Council meeting be scheduled after tenders have been received to review the project
  • 3rd Quarter Financial Statements were received
