Council Highlights for September 2022:
- A public meeting for a Zoning By-Law Amendment was held for 7414 Townsend Line to rezone the severed lands to an agricultural zone that allows for a residential dwelling and prohibit a dwelling on the retained portion of the farm; the ZBA was approved
- A temporary use agreement was approved for 8189 Jura Line to permit the occupancy of an existing dwelling during the construction of a new dwelling
- Council entered into an agreement with the Optimist Club of Forest to operate the concession at the Shore Recreation Centre
- Tenders were awarded for asphalt patching and sidewalk replacement
- An agreement for reimbursement for the installation of a seawall with the owners of property on Morenz Lane was approved
- Appointments were made to the Grand Bend Community Centre Ad Hoc Advisory Committee
- The Inaugural Council meeting for the 2022-2026 term was set for November 15, 2022
- An updated Sale and Other Disposition of Land Policy was approved
- Council received an update from staff on the Forest Arena condition
- Financing for the Administration Building was approved
