Lambton Shores public skating resumes throughout the week and weekends

The Municipality of Lambton Shores is happy to announce that public skating programs have resumed at the Shores Recreation Centre and Legacy Recreation Centre.

The public skating schedule can be found below, but we encourage everyone to check the Public Skating Calendar before heading out to the arena. Any changes to the schedule due to holidays or unexpected cancellations will be posted there.

Shores Recreation Centre (Forest)

  • Learn to skate: 11am to 12pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Adult skate: 1pm to 2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Public skate: 12pm to 1:30pm on Sundays

Legacy Recreation Centre (Thedford)

  • Learn to skate: 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays
  • Adult skate: 1:30pm to 2:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays
  • Public skate: 12pm to 1:30pm on Saturdays

If you plan to attend a public skate, please remember:

  • Capacity is limited to 100 skaters per public skate and will operate on a first come, first serve basis
  • Parental supervision is required for patrons under 16 years of age
  • No sticks or other hockey equipment is permitted - only skating is allowed
  • Masks are required at all times, unless on the ice surface
  • Proof of vaccination is required for individuals 12 years of age and older. Please have your ID and vaccine documents ready for staff upon your arrival
  • Participants must sign in using the QR code or binder at the front entrance
