Lambton Shores receives funding for Ontario Street bridge

As part of the Ontario government’s recently announced Connecting Links Program, Lambton Shores will receive up to $4,853,952 in funding to support the replacement and widening of the Ontario Street bridge in Grand Bend.

“Connecting Links are roads that are important to both local residents and the provincial transportation network as a whole,” said Mayor Bill Weber. “It’s important to have provincial funding that helps ensure these key roads and bridges are kept in good repair.”

Lambton Shores is one of 14 municipalities to receive funding through the program, which provides funding for the design, construction, renewal, rehabilitation and replacement of municipal roads and bridges.
