Lambton Shores Community Improvement Plan

The Municipality of Lambton Shores has adopted a Community Improvement Plan (CIP) aimed at assisting in the economic development and urban design of targeted commercial cores in Lambton Shores.

The CIP offers ten grant programs and one tax incentive program.

Southwestern Ontario Development Fund

The fund supports business and community economic development projects. The business project stream can provide funding, loans and grants:

  • Funding amount up to 15% of eligible project costs
  • Up to 15% funding to a maximum of $5M, interest free during the project period (up to 4 years). If you achieve your investment and job targets, up to 30% of the loan (maximum $500,000) may be forgiven)

Lambton Shores Community Vibrancy Grant Program - Small Projects

The Community Vibrancy Fund Small Projects will fund up to 50% of total eligible project costs. Matching funds will be considered for cash contributions only and will not include matching funds for the value of in-kind services.

Creative County Grant Program

The Creative County Grant Program was established in 2013 as an outcome of the County of Lambton Cultural Plan.

The program involves a community application process to allocate an annual investment of matching funds to support local arts, culture and heritage projects across Lambton County.

Funding is intended to enhance the cultural landscape by supporting new, unique and innovative projects that strengthen and build the creative community, define the County’s unique identity and enrich the quality of life for all residents.

The application deadline is November 18, 2024.
