Conserve Water Notice - August 11, 2026

The Municipality is asking residents to temporarily reduce non-essential water use and conserve water where possible.

The water supply to the Municipality has been temporarily reduced due to an emergency pipeline replacement at the Lake Huron Water Treatment Plant.

Where possible, please postpone activities that use larger amounts of water, such as doing laundry, watering lawns and gardens, or taking longer showers.

Residents in the Grand Bend area may also experience lower than normal water pressure until the system is restored.

Please be advised that municipal splashpads are also closed for the day and all bulk water stations are closed until further notice.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation while this work is underway and will provide an update when normal water use can resume.
