Fall 2026 Asphalt Resurfacing Project
The Municipality's project contractor (Armstrong Paving and Materials Group Ltd.) will be starting the Fall 2026 Asphalt Resurfacing Project this week, as part of the Municipality's 2026 budget.
The Fall phase of the project will include road resurfacing in the Grand Bend areas of:
- Lake Road (Pines Parkway to Ontario Street South)
- Woodward Avenue (Main Street W to Centre Street)
- Park Avenue (King Street to Centre Street)
- Centre Street (Hill Street to Pine Street)
- Oak Street (Hill Street to Beach Lane)
Residents in the areas above will noticed construction activity during the project, which has an anticipated completion date of October 30, 2026.
There will be times when the street will be obstructed with construction activities, but road access will be maintained during construction. Driveways will be accessible, though short periods of restricted access will be required when construction is directly in front of a residence.
