Maintenance Work at the Forest Sewage Treatment Plant

The Forest Sewage Treatment Plant (Brush Road) will be undergoing routine scheduled maintenance from approximately August 3 to August 14, 2026. During the maintenance work, residents in the surrounding area may notice a temporary increase in odour.

To support this necessary work, the Forest Compost Site will also be closed on Wednesday, August 12. It will reopen with regular hours on Saturday, August 15.
