Work Resumes for 2025 Asphalt Resurfacing Project

Construction Update on the 2025 Asphalt Resurfacing Project:

Residents are advised that construction work on the previously paused 2025 Asphalt Resurfacing Project will be resuming next week.

As area residents may recall, work was temporarily paused before the projects could be completed due to winter weather conditions. Crews will now be returning to the sites to finish the remaining work.

Project locations:

• Wellington Street West (Union Street to Main Street N)
• Sarah Street (King Street to Elizabeth Street)
• Alberta Street (Lake Road to River Road) - site restoration work
• Beaver Dam Crescent - topcoat work
• Shoreline Drive (Maplewood Avenue to Lake Road) - topcoat work

Road access will be maintained for local traffic, but access to driveways may be temporarily blocked at certain times during construction. Crews will do their best to reduce any impacts on residents.

The Municipality appreciates your patience and understanding as crews work to complete this project as efficiently and safely as possible.

As always, work will be dependent on weather conditions.
