Cold Weather Alert

Lambton Public Health has issued a Cold Weather Alert for the area. 

A Cold Weather Alert is issued when one or more of the following is met:

• Daily, low temperature is predicted to be -15°C or below, without a wind chill value.
• Environment Canada issues a wind chill warning for Lambton County.
• Extreme weather conditions, such as a blizzard or ice storm, are predicted.

The alert is expected to remain in effect until Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

There are several warming centres in Lambton Shores available to the public during operational hours, including the Shores and Legacy community centres (7am to 10pm) and the administration building (8:30am to 4:30pm).
