Lambton Shores Home to Upcoming Four-Plex by Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton

The Municipality of Lambton Shores is excited to be home to the next Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton project. The upcoming development will see the construction of a four-plex building that will provide safe, affordable housing for four local families.

The new four-plex will be located on Union Street in Forest, neighbouring the successful two-home project completed by Habitat Sarnia-Lambton in 2023.

“Affordable housing continues to be one of the most pressing challenges facing communities across the country,” said Mayor Doug Cook. “We are proud to once again support Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton as they take another meaningful step forward in providing families the opportunity to have a safe and secure place to live.”

Mayor Cook recently joined Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton staff and one of the future homeowners at the build site to celebrate the project’s announcement.

“The Municipality is proud to support this project and to see the continued positive impact these builds have in Forest and beyond,” continued Mayor Cook.

More updates about the build will be shared by Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton in the coming months.
