Mayor Cook Attends Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton Key Ceremony

Welcome home, Wes, Tabatha and family!

Mayor Cook recently attended the key ceremony by Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton to celebrate the “handing over of the keys” to Tabatha Jenkins and Wes Derby’s new home in Forest.

The home is the latest build by Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton, who have been building homes for families in Sarnia and Lambton County since 1994.

With the completion of this latest four-bedroom build, it is the sixth home built in Forest by the organization, with work currently underway on a four-plex nearby.

“There’s a number of projects that have been built in Lambton Shores and we are very appreciative of the fact they choose to build in our community,” said Mayor Doug Cook. “Congratulations to Wes, Tabatha and their family. A wonderful Christmas for the family!”
