Annual Statement of Remuneration and Expenses

In accordance with Section 284 of the Municipal Act, 2001, the Treasurer is required each year, on or before March 31, to provide Council with an itemized statement of the remuneration and expenses paid in the previous year to Members of Council and to persons appointed by Council to serve on committees, local boards or other bodies, where applicable.

The statement identifies the by-law under which the remuneration or expenses were authorized to be paid and is a public record under the Municipal Act, 2001.

The Municipality posts the annual statements below to support public transparency and accountability regarding remuneration and expenses paid by the Municipality.
